This is a virtually unique career center. It is so called – as it is in itself a self-discovery process based on what one has and not on what one has not. As used in this center, career actually includes all of one’s life. Qualities for success are already a part of each one’s life. We can prove it. We simply need to become aware of what we have and take practical steps to use it.
This center links off my website, which shares different things I have done. Not that any of this is extraordinary, but that these are things I wanted to do. As the first sentence reiterates, ‘we can do whatever we want to do as long as we know how to think’.
My life has been and continues to be a process of discovering how to think and more and more of my identity as I go along. Some things I tried for a while (such as flying small planes or ballroom dancing), others I spent time doing until I wanted to move on to something else. We do not have to be successful at everything we try; sometimes we just decide to move on. I reflect and express the qualities for success.
Life is success. Problem is, most of us do not feel successful. For example, if you took a trip and had no designation in mind, you would go, come back to wherever your point of return was, but you would not have felt that you reached your goals/vision, because you had not envisioned any. So, you may come back weary and wonder why you ever went in the first place. Know what I mean? Have days, weeks, months or years like that?
Now, if your goal is to discover what you have and put it to good use in whatever your next goal/vision might be, you have come to the right place. I challenge you to continue through the process and see what happens. From experience I have found that most people, who have gone through workshops with me, do indeed, come away with a better way to think and to achieve their goals. It is worth the effort.
You are worth the effort!
First we will take a look at the 10 (ten) Principles of Success with some discussion after each. Then we will look at what causes failure with explanation. From that point, we will expand on the first two. Goal/vision and Self-Esteem.
